Danbury's Tails Of Courage Participates In Clear The Shelters Initiative

DANBURY, Conn. -- Tails of Courage will participate in the Clear the Shelters initiative by offering reduced rates for adult dogs and kittens on Saturday, July 23.

The initiative is co-sponsored by NBC 30 Connecticut News and the Connecticut Humane Society.

Adoption fees will be $150 for kittens, $25 for adult cats, $200 for adult dogs and $50 for pit mixes. Adoption fees for certain adult dogs can be waived for veterans and active military members with proof of service.

Tails of Courage is at 39 Smith St. in Danbury. The initiative will run from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
